The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children said 14-year-old Jelisa Saldana may still be in the Corpus Christi area and could need medical attention.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is renewing its call for help finding a Corpus Christi teenager who has been missing for seven months.

Jelisa Saldana, now 14, was last seen in Corpus Christi on Jan. 19, 2026. She was 13 when she disappeared.

NCMEC said authorities believe Jelisa may still be in the Corpus Christi area and that she may need medical attention.

Her grandfather told NCMEC that the family has not heard from Jelisa since she disappeared, which he said is out of character for her. He said the family is concerned for her safety and wants her home.

Jelisa is 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighed about 120 pounds when she was last seen. She has brown eyes and dyed black hair.

Anyone with information about Jelisa or her whereabouts is asked to call the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) or the Corpus Christi police at 361-886-2600.
