It’s about to get cold in North Texas.
Parts of the region have been placed under a freeze watch starting at 9 p.m. Sunday and continuing until 9 a.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.
Temperatures could dip down to as low as 26 and the freezing conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation. This could also damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
“Freeze Warnings are issued for the first freeze in the fall to signify the end of the growing season,” the warning said.
