A suspect is in custody after a Sansom Park police chase ends in the Alliance area of Fort Worth, officials say.
According to police, Sansom Park officers were in pursuit of a vehicle that had committed a felony offense. Fort Worth police then joined the chase as it entered the city’s limit.
The suspect was seen by WFAA crews throwing items out of the window during the pursuit. Interstate 35W near Dale Earnhardt Way was briefly shut down while police collected the evidence.
Officers say no injuries were reported and the suspect is now in custody.
