SAN ANTONIO — Forget carrying around a giant cup of Bill Miller iced tea. Now you can wear one in your hair.

Bill Miller Bar-B-Q has unveiled its latest piece of merchandise, and it may be one of the most San Antonio accessories yet — an iced tea claw clip designed to look like a miniature cup of the restaurant’s famous tea.

We took your favorite drink and made it an accessory!” Bill Miller announced on Instagram.

The clip, complete with the familiar Bill Miller logo, iced tea and what appear to be tiny ice cubes on top, sells for $7 and is available in stores and online while supplies last.

And judging by the reaction online, “while supplies last” might be the important part.

I need one in my life,” Jim Jiron wrote on Facebook.

Teresa Griego-Chavez was already ahead of him.

“Got mine yesterday! Thanks to my husband,” she wrote.

Nicky Franklin was another early buyer, writing, “I got mine yesterday!! LOVE IT!!!”

Others were apparently ready to start shopping. Sam Wilson declared, “I need one!!!” while Jennifer Peña wrote, “stop that’s the cutest! I’ll take one.”

The reaction was much the same over on Instagram.

Need it!” user @aerielauren wrote, while @cyndimart83 called the clip “Too cute” before adding, “I need one.

Verified San Antonio food account @satexasfoodies kept its review even shorter: “I need it.”

And @alicewonderland_xo knew exactly how the accessory should be sold: “I need 1 hairclip with my unsweet tea from B. Miller’s.”

At least some locations may have a hard time keeping them around. One Facebook commenter, Violet Rios, wrote, “We sold out the same day.”

The tiny tea cup is the latest in a growing collection of Bill Miller merchandise inspired by the chain’s iced tea.

For generations of San Antonians, the oversized cup of Bill Miller tea has been nearly as recognizable as the barbecue itself.

Now, apparently, it’s also a hairstyle.

And there’s one advantage this version has over the original: If it ends up sideways in your car, you won’t need a stack of napkins.
