SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot in the right forearm during an apparent road rage incident, according to San Antonio police.

The incident began near Loop 410 and Airport Boulevard. Police said they received the first call about the shooting around 5 p.m. One of the parties involved remained at the scene and called police.

The second person later arrived at a home in the 300 block of Club Drive and told a family member he had been shot in the right forearm. Police were called to the home around 5:38 p.m.

The man had non-life-threatening injuries but was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

Police said multiple bullet holes were found on the right side of a vehicle at the Club Drive location.

It was unclear what led to the incident or whether the man who was shot was a victim or suspect. The investigation remains ongoing.
