SAN ANTONIO — A shooting at a Northeast apartment complex left two men hospitalized in serious condition.
The incident occurred early Sunday around 12:57 a.m. at the Oakstone Apartments in the 2600 block of Northeast Loop 410, where investigators found two men suffering from gunshot wounds in the complex parking lot.
An SAPD captain on scene said one victim was shot in the arm, while the second was shot in the chest. Both men were transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
Details surrounding what led up to the shooting remained limited as investigators worked to determine the circumstances of the incident.
Police were provided with a vague description of the suspected shooter, who reportedly fled the apartment complex on foot. Officers searched the surrounding area with assistance from SAPD’s Eagle helicopter but could not manage to find anyone matching the description.
