Austin, TX — A Central Texas teenager is beginning her Make-A-Wish journey after facing an ultra-rare form of cancer and significant vision loss.

Eden, first experienced minor vision problems that eventually led to years of medical uncertainty. Today, she is rebuilding her strength and learning to navigate daily life with limited vision while looking ahead to a new chapter.

As part of her Wish Discovery Interview, Eden explored several possibilities for her wish, including meeting the Fab Five from Netflix’s “Queer Eye.” The show became a source of comfort for Eden while she recovered from radiation treatment.

Eden’s journey comes as Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas holds its Summer of Wishes campaign. The organization is asking the community to help discover and grant 100 wishes in 100 days for local children facing critical illnesses.

So far, 58 wishes have been granted, according to Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas. Learn more: https://wish.org/cstx
