Investigators said the woman was home alone when the suspect entered her apartment.

SAN ANTONIO — A 45-year-old man is accused of entering a neighbor’s San Antonio apartment, restraining her with phone charger cords and sexually assaulting her, according to an arrest affidavit.

Jorge Armando Mora was arrested after the alleged attack Thursday. Investigators said the woman was home alone when Mora entered her apartment. According to the affidavit, Mora restrained the woman using phone charger cords and threatened her with a gun before sexually assaulting her.

The woman told investigators she lost consciousness during the attack, according to the affidavit. She later escaped the apartment and ran outside for help.

The victim told investigators she had recently seen Mora around the apartment complex but did not know him and considered him a stranger.

Deputies later arrested Mora. He is facing multiple charges, including aggravated sexual assault, unlawful restraint and burglary.

The investigation remains ongoing.
