The sold-out Dandelion Tour stop set attendance, merchandise and food and beverage sales records at Hilliard Center under its current management.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — More than 9,000 fans packed Hilliard Center for Ella Langley’s Dandelion Tour, setting several records at the Corpus Christi venue.
The sold-out Aug. 14 concert became the arena’s highest-attended event since Oak View Group took over management of the city-owned complex in June 2022, according to Hilliard Center officials.

The concert also set records for merchandise sales and food and beverage sales per person during that same period.
“This was an incredible night for Hilliard Center and the Corpus Christi community,” General Manager Tiffany Sun said. “These records reflect not only Ella Langley’s tremendous draw, but also the work of our local team and partners who came together to create an outstanding experience for more than 9,000 guests.”

The concert provided paid work for nearly 200 part-time and event workers, including stagehands, ushers, security officers, housekeeping crews and hospitality staff.
Local businesses and nonprofits also benefited from the sold-out show.
La Reina Specialty Donuts set a record for the highest single-event sales by an outside local business operating its own concession stand at the arena. The business participated through Hilliard Center’s Hospitality Incubator Pilot Program, which gives local businesses without a storefront an opportunity to sell to arena guests.
Before the concert, fans could visit the venue’s outdoor Beer Garden, which featured food and drink specials along with a performance by local artist Emma James.
The night also raised more than $8,000 combined for Mission 911, the Junior League of Corpus Christi and Vet Sync. The organizations operated concession stands during the concert and received a portion of the sales through the venue’s Concession Stand Takeover Program.
