(KNUE-FM) It’s amazing how long we can live in East Texas without realizing all the cool things around us. I realized that recently after seeing a Facebook post about Longview.
The topic of conversation was about the Longview, Texas Gap Clearance Store and its hours of operation although there were dozens of comments from people not knowing that the store even existed here in East Texas.
Shoppers Don’t Know This GAP Store Exists
Right now, we know that people are struggling with inflation, meaning higher prices for just about everything. So, if anything is on clearance, we need to share the details so we can all save a little bit of money.

Where to Find the GAP Clearance Store in Longview
Most people have heard of GAP; the popular clothing brand that has been around since 1969. But you might not know where the Longview Clearance Store is located. The store is in north Longview, the address is 1719 Farm to Market Road 1844, Longview, TX 75605.

But this clothing store is different; it’s only open a few days per week. According to their Facebook page, the official hours of operation are every Thursday and Friday from Noon until 7:00 p.m. and now every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Clothing can get expensive, especially for anyone who has kids, make sure to let your friends know about this place as it truly can help people in East Texas some money. Gap Clothing StoresGap is only keeping open its most profitable stores, a large number of locations have already closed. Bed Bath & BeyondBed Bath & Beyond has closed all locations but you can still find them online. Party CityThe party store company filed for bankruptcy last year, there have been multiple Texas locations that have already closed. WalmartWalmart is generating lots of profit in Texas, but they will be closing a few locations nationwide due to crime and low sales. Best BuyBest Buy is focusing more on online sales. Some stores are being condensed to have fewer items. TargetTarget is doing well in Texas. The company has announced they would close stores if theft continues to increase at certain locations. Hardee’sHardee’s parent company Summit Restaurant Holdings filed for bankruptcy which is the cause of more stores closing. Big LotsBig Lots is trying to be strategic on which stores will close due to low profits and which ones will remain open. Burger KingThe fast-food company said it would close outdated locations that were not making a profit. StarbucksStarbucks is constantly evaluating stores for performance and making adjustments as needed. Macy’sMacy’s is closing more stores, but as long as they keep the Thanksgiving Day Parade sponsorship going everything will be fine. Foot LockerFoot Locker is going to close 400 locations before 2026, many located in shopping malls. Boston MarketBoston Market is a mess as the company owes employee wages and the IRS tax money. WalgreensWalgreens announced they would be closing around 150 locations and cutting 10% of it’s corporate team. CVS PharmacyCVS is closing 900 locations nationwide and those closings will continue this year. Rite Aid PharmacyRite Aid has filed for bankruptcy so almost all of their locations will soon be gone. GodivaThe chocolate company struggled big time during the pandemic which is why all stores have closed. So, if you cancel your membership and sign up again immediately, they see what you’re doing. Keep trying to cut that cost and your membership could be deactivated.

It also prevents theft, if you refuse or ignore the employee checking receipts you could be kicked out. Don’t Keep Forgetting Your Membership CardEmployees ask for your membership card as part of their duties, if you refuse repeatedly, it could end your membership.
