LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Former Husker wrestler, AJ Ferrari, was sentenced on Monday for evading arrest in Texas.
According to court records, Ferrari had taken a plea deal, and was sentenced to three years of probation for the felony.
The incident occurred in October 2025. Ferrari then fled from Texas to Nebraska, however in January, he was arrested for an outstanding warrant near Waverly.
Ferrari is waiting for a preliminary hearing for reportedly assaulting a pregnant woman, which is scheduled for Sept. 15.
