NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – The last major school district in our area is going back to school today.
Many students in New Braunfels went back last week, but those who attend schools in Comal ISD are joining them in just a few hours.
The district is the largest in Comal County, serving a little more than 30,000 students across 38 schools.
The district includes parts of Bexar, Guadalupe, Hays and Kendall counties.
The TEA gave the district a “B” grade.
Comal ISD has maintained that above-average grade since the 2022-23 school year.
