Madisonville Christmas Company is bringing holiday magic to the former Weir’s Furniture location

Christmas is coming to Plano a little early. Madisonville Christmas Company, the holiday superstore based in Madisonville, Texas, is bringing its seasonal showroom to North Texas this September, just in time for the 2026 holiday season. The company announced a September opening but has not yet revealed an exact date.

The new location will take over the former Weir’s Furniture space at 5801 Preston Road.

What To Expect

Madisonville Christmas Company is known for its extensive selection of holiday décor, and the Plano showroom is expected to bring plenty of it. The store will carry thousands of ornaments along with ribbon, lighting, Christmas décor and gifts.

The company teased the new store on social media, promising North Texas shoppers the same holiday-focused experience found at its Madisonville location. The store will offer Christmas décor in a wide range of colors and styles.

“This holiday season, we’re bringing our special brand experience to North Texas — filled with the incredible ornaments, ribbon, décor, designer inspiration and Christmas magic you’ve come to expect from Madisonville Christmas Company,” the Instagram post said.

More Than a Christmas Shopping Trip

At the original Madisonville location, Madisonville Christmas Company offers more than its sprawling holiday showroom. The property also features Cafe 1225, weekend live music, The Mantel restaurant and the Yuletide RV Park, which includes cabins for overnight stays.

It’s not yet clear whether the new Plano location will offer similar amenities, so for now, the focus appears to be on bringing the company’s signature holiday shopping experience to North Texas.

More details, including the official opening date, are expected to be announced as September approaches.
