Diggs signed with Seattle last week and is getting settled into the Seahawks’ defense. In the most recent episode of “Hard Knocks”, which is documenting Seattle’s training camp this offseason, Diggs was shown in a sit-down meeting with Seahawks GM John Schneider in which they discussed his recovery from last season’s injuries.

Schneider can be seen telling Diggs, “We do have a style of play…” likely referring to the hard-nosed reputation of the Seattle defense, one which carried it to a championship last year. Diggs attested that he was still recovering from knee surgery, which, along with a concussion he suffered at his home, forced him to miss two months last season.

“Last year I wasn’t powerful,” Diggs told Schneider. “I wasn’t feeling the power in my leg that I needed. I could go, I could go out [on the field]. But I wasn’t really effective, wasn’t feeling twitchy and powerful.”

Diggs says this is the first fully healthy offseason he’s had since 2022.

He was also reportedly a repeated offender of team rules and was the lone player on the roster not to fly back to Texas with the team after a Christmas Day game against the Commanders. He was waived five days later.

Diggs gets a fresh start in Seattle where we’ll find out if he can bounce back from the year-to-forget that was his final season in Dallas.
