Several lanes are closed on Interstate 35E at Hi Line Drive following a crash on Wednesday morning.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a major crash at approximately 5 a.m.
Officials said the crash involved a pedestrian who was hit by an oncoming vehicle in the northbound lanes of IH-35.
Information about the conditions of the pedestrian and the driver is not yet available.
As of 8:30 a.m., traffic remained backed up towards the Oak Lawn exit. Drivers should seek alternate routes as officials respond to the scene.
