Waterline work to reduce Flour Bluff Drive to one lane for three weeks

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A section of Flour Bluff Drive will be reduced to one lane for approximately three weeks as crews continue installing a waterline, city officials said.

The lane restriction will begin Monday, Aug. 31, and affect Flour Bluff Drive from Don Patricio Road to Compton Road. The project is intended to improve the reliability of the city’s water system, according to officials.

Construction will also affect nearby sidewalks. Access to neighboring homes and businesses will remain open throughout the project, according to the city. Affected residents and businesses have been notified.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays, remain alert in the work zone and follow posted signs.
