Surveillance video shows at least two men inside The Deck on Fountainview early Sunday morning, according to the owner.
HOUSTON — A Houston bar said it’s out thousands of dollars after police said a group of men broke into the business early Sunday morning.
The burglary happened at The Deck on Fountainview, in the Galleria area. Houston police said the suspects entered through the back door.
Surveillance video captured at least two men rummaging through the bar’s office.

The business owner, Toby Holt, said the bar has been burglarized before, but nothing like this.
“This was planned, it looked like,” Holt said.
Holt said the suspects stole about $7,000 worth of alcohol and took the safe from the office. He estimates the damage to the business at about $10,000.
Holt said the total loss is about $30,000 when factoring in the stolen items and other losses.
“I was very disappointed,” Holt said. “This is a tough business, and we just try to keep it open for our employees.”
Holt said 15 employees depend on the business for their jobs.
The bar has surveillance cameras throughout the business, and Holt said he is hopeful someone in the community will recognize the suspects.
“I hope you go to jail and pay for your crimes,” Holt said. “There are a lot of people you are hurting in the process.”
Holt is asking anyone who recognizes the men or has information about the burglary to contact police.
