The new Spring Creek gym celebrates its grand opening on Aug. 29
EōS Fitness opened its third Plano gym, but the fitness chain may not be finished expanding in the city. The new 45,000-square-foot club at 6101 K Ave. officially opened July 23 and will hold its grand opening celebration Aug. 29. Meanwhile, a recent state filing shows another EōS Fitness project planned less than 10 miles away on Coit Road.
The K Avenue opening marks EōS’ 32nd Texas gym, according to the company, adding another location to its existing Plano clubs on 15th Street and Preston Road. EōS Fitness’ new Spring Creek location is open 24 hours a day.
What’s Inside Plano’s Newest EōS
The newly opened K Avenue club combines traditional gym equipment with some of the chain’s more unconventional fitness and recovery offerings. Among them is MOVEōS Cinema, where members can use cardio equipment while watching movies on a large screen, and The Set, a workout space designed with lighting and equipment for members who want to film their workouts.
The club also includes an indoor pool and hot tub, saunas, group fitness classes and EōS Smart Strength equipment. Recovery options include cold and hot plunges, compression boots, percussion massagers, massage chairs and heated and cooled recovery loungers.
Memberships at the location currently start at $9.99 per month, with additional fees and restrictions depending on membership level.
Grand Opening Celebration
Although the K Avenue gym has been operating since July, EōS will formally celebrate its arrival in Plano on Aug. 29 beginning at 9 a.m. The public event will include live music, local vendors, fitness demonstrations, complimentary club tours, food and family activities. Hourly raffle drawings begin at 10 a.m., followed by a grand prize drawing at noon. Attendees must be present to win.
EōS Fitness Grand Opening: Aug. 29, beginning at 9 a.m. at 6101 K Ave., Plano. The celebration is free and open to the public.
Another Plano Gym Is In The Works
While the newest location is getting ready for its grand opening celebration, state records point to an even larger EōS project elsewhere in Plano. A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing registered June 5 lists an “EOS Fitness Coit” project at 9700 Coit Road. Plans call for renovating a 58,854-square-foot building into a health and fitness club at an estimated cost of nearly $5.6 million.
Construction is currently scheduled to begin in September 2026 and finish in July 2027, according to the filing. Because those dates and costs are estimates submitted during the planning process, they could change as the project moves forward.
If completed as planned, the Coit Road project would give EōS a fourth Plano location.
