LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Volunteer Center of Lubbock is celebrating its grand opening of its new facility in downtown.
Located at the corner of 13th and Avenue K, the project was spearheaded by its new Executive Director Emily Smith as part of the organization’s 36th anniversary.
The non-profit hosted an open house and ribbon cutting Thursday afternoon.
Designed to serve as a center of service for the Lubbock community, the new space will provide a home for programs and opportunities that help people serve, lead and connect through meaningful experiences.
