TGIF!
Well … this is awkward. Didn’t think you would see me back so soon? Anyway, I am back this week to keep you guys in the loop on what’s going on in Arlington. As usual, we have a busy weekend ahead.
This Friday, collect your favorite Pokémon cards at the Arlington Card Show. The most experienced card collectors can show off their gold star Charizard or Mewtwo, or beginners can get their collection started with a classic Pikachu or my personal favorite, Jigglypuff.
For the college football fans, catch a broadcast Saturday of the TCU football team’s season opener against North Carolina at Texas Live! and unleash your proud Horned Frog or Tar Heel energy. Although this game is being played in Dublin, Ireland, fans can still grab “a few scoops” — or pints — while enjoying the game and brush up on their Irish slang like I have.
Sunday brings plenty of options. Start your day with a calming yoga class and follow your zen with a yummy matcha latte. Stop by Deep Dive Vintage in downtown for a little shopping at their mini market. End your weekend by catching the playoff-bound Dallas Wings as they host the Connecticut Sun, and cheer on Paige Bueckers or Brittney Griner.
Whatever you decide to do, let us know what you’re up to. Have a great weekend, and goodbye for now!
