LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A motorcyclist is in the hospital after a crash just north of Slaton early Friday morning.
Just before 8 a.m., Lubbock County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a crash involving a motorcycle on Highway 84 and FM 1585.
The Slaton Fire Department, Slaton Police Department and Buffalo Springs Police Department responded to assist.
LSO says a preliminary investigation indicates the motorcyclist lost control while applying the brakes quickly.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital. The details on the severity of injuries have not yet been released.
DPS is investigating the crash.
