One woman and two men are dead after a shooting behind a San Antonio landscaping supply company Saturday morning, San Antonio police Chief Bill McManus wrote in a social media post.

Police responded to the 4400 block of Stahl Road at about 9:45 a.m. after reports of a shooting, McManus said.

The San Antonio police SWAT team and Texas Department of Public Safety were also present at the scene, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

Investigators believe the shooting was not random, and the three victims knew the suspect, Chief McManus said.

At about 11:40 a.m., police located the suspect, who was not identified and had a self-inflicted wound, on the city’s northeast side, Chief McManus said.

Police did not immediately respond to emailed requests for comment about whether the suspect is dead.

Police know the suspect’s identity and detectives are in the process of obtaining a warrant, the Express-News reported.
