SAN ANTONIO – The person who died in a hit-and-run crash on Wednesday has been identified.

Edward Eugene Finex, 37, died after being struck by a pickup truck near Hildebrandt and S Foster Road.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were notified of a deceased person who was found hit by a car that did not stop to render aid.

Investigators said they identified the suspect vehicle as a 2004-2008 Ford F-150 with damage to the right front area and missing the right-side (passenger-side) headlight assembly. The vehicle had not been located as of the sheriff’s office update.
