A man who died Thursday may have experienced a medical event while he was driving and just before his sedan crashed in Arlington, police said.
The sedan was traveling east along Arkansas Lane about 9 p.m. when it crossed the center median and westbound traffic lanes, and moved through grass near Arkansas Lane and Southgate Street, Arlington police said.
The car crossed Southgate Street and crashed into a dumpster enclosure at a business, police said.
The driver, who was the only person in the sedan, was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead, police said.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man who died as 77-year-old Roy Urquhart and determined his death was an accident caused by blunt force injuries.
