The Texas A&M Aggies broke through with their first College Football Playoff appearance in school history and expectations have predictably risen in College Station. Coach Mike Elko enters Year 3 with a star quarterback in Marcel Reed and some nice playmakers, but the schedule is daunting.
A&M also graduated a slew of key players from last season’s 11-2 team including its top receiver, sack artist and a few starting offensive linemen — each of whom were among 10 Aggies drafted into the NFL earlier this year.
