The Cowboys have until 5 p.m. Sunday to finalize what their roster will look like to open the 2026 season.
Some positions possibly still up in the air on the Cowboys roster: backup running back, fifth- and sixth-string wide receiver and, perhaps most notably, the decision to keep Joe Milton, Sam Howell or both.
Below, we will be keeping track of the players who have been released, meaning they will not make the 53-man roster, but could possibly return to the team via a spot on the practice squad:
