LUBBOCK, Texas – Golf Channel, in conjunction with Brentley Romine, announced its preseason Top 30 on Monday morning, tabbing Texas Tech as its preseason No. 5-ranked team while also releasing its preseason All-America teams, which included a trio of Red Raiders.
Seniors Adam Bresnu and Tim Wiedemeyer were named to Golf Channel’s second team. The duo was recently named to the Haskins Award’s 25-player preseason watch list when the Haskins Foundation released its list last week. Seven of the 25 golfers on this year’s Haskins preseason list carry over from last spring’s list, including Bresnu and Wiedemeyer.
Meanwhile, Connor Graham was named a third-team preseason All-American by Golf Channel, marking the second consecutive season he has been named to Golf Channel’s third team. Wiedemeyer was also a third-team selection prior to the 2025-26 season.
The trio of Bresnu, Graham and Wiedemeyer led the Red Raiders throughout the 2025-26 season, with all three earning first-team All-Big 12 honors. Their selections marked the most first-team honorees of any school in the conference and the first time in program history Texas Tech placed three golfers on the All-Big 12 First Team in the same season.
All three Red Raiders enter the season ranked inside the top 30 of the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) and will look to lead Texas Tech back to the NCAA Championships, with the road to Carlsbad, California, beginning in Lubbock as the Red Raiders are one of six NCAA regional host sites leading into the 2027 NCAA Championship.
