EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Officers with the Horizon City Police Department arrested a man with an outstanding warrant during a domestic disturbance call.

Nathaniel Jacob Gandara, 21, was placed under arrest after a records check revealed he had an outstanding warrant through the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office for assault family violence causing bodily injury, police said.

Just after 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, officers reportedly responded to a residence in the 15300 block of Woodhill Court regarding a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers contacted the reporting party, who requested assistance regarding ongoing issues involving his son, police said.

Officers reportedly observed Gandara yelling profanities from the front entrance of the residence.

Gandara was taken into custody without further incident and booked into the Downtown Detention Facility.

His bond is set at $6,000.
