EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The Run Internacional U.S.-México 10K is set to return to El Paso and Ciudad Juárez on Sunday, April 4, 2027.
The El Paso Community Foundation announced the eighth edition of the binational race will begin at 8 a.m. and expand its capacity to 5,000 runners following strong demand in previous years.
Registration will open at noon on Oct. 24, 2026, at https://international10k.com.
The 10K route will connect the downtown areas of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, crossing the Stanton-Lerdo International Bridge and passing historic landmarks before ending at the international boundary line at the Paso del Norte International Bridge.
This event reflects the deep cultural, social, and economic ties that bind our region,” Eric Pearson, president and CEO of the El Paso Community Foundation, said in a statement. “We are excited to welcome even more runners to the starting line in 2027 and continue building on this incredible tradition.
Mario Porras, the foundation’s vice president of international affairs, said the race represents the shared connection between the two border cities.
“Run Internacional: The U.S.-México 10K is more than a race; it is a symbol of what we can achieve together as one region and one community,” Porras said.
The event is organized through collaboration among local, state and federal authorities in Mexico and the United States, including the cities of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, as well as volunteers, sponsors and community partners.
