A 62-year-old man faces a murder charge after allegedly stabbing another man at a Kennedale residence on Saturday, Aug. 28, police say.
A 62-year-old man has been accused of fatally stabbing another man at a Kennedale home the evening of Aug. 28, police said.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Arthur Drive about 6:30 p.m. They found the victim with apparent stab wounds, police said in a news release.
The injured man was taken to Medical City Arlington hospital and died less than an hour later, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s website. He’s been identified as 65-year-old Gayle Dean King, and his death has been ruled a homicide.
The suspect, Michael Russ King, was arrested at the scene and faces a murder charge, according to police. He’s being held in the Tarrant County Jail on $750,000 bond, according to court records.
Authorities did not describe the relationship between the two men. Michael King’s appointed defense attorney was not immediately available for comment Wednesday.
Police said the homicide investigation is ongoing.
