Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing is continuing its “Kindness in the Air” initiative in the San Antonio market by spotlighting VetStrong, a local nonprofit that supports previously homeless, rehoused veterans by providing donated household goods and furnishings to help them settle into their new place.

For many veterans transitioning out of homelessness, finding somewhere to live is only the first step. Basic furnishings, household goods, and everyday essentials are also needed to create comfort, stability, and dignity.

VetStrong, located in San Antonio (a.k.a. Military City USA), bridges that gap so that veterans and their families can feel at home wherever they land. The organization’s outreach efforts bring donated furniture and household items to veterans in need, encouraging them to begin their next chapter with confidence.

What started in 2017 with a pickup truck and a few veteran volunteers has grown into a community program that now assists more than 200 veteran and family households each year in San Antonio. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and local partners, VetStrong continues to make a practical difference for veterans rebuilding their lives.

Goettl San Antonio is proud to spotlight VetStrong through “Kindness in the Air,” helping raise awareness for an organization that honors veterans by allowing them to feel safe, supported, and at home.
