SAN ANTONIO – A SWAT team stormed a West Side apartment early Wednesday after a woman was stabbed to death.
Police were called to an apartment just after midnight near San Fernando and South Richter streets, where they found a 33-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Witnesses told police several people involved in the stabbing were inside an apartment, prompting a call for SWAT.
After several hours of negotiations, SWAT officers entered the apartment with guns drawn.
Police arrested a 48-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, and detained several others for questioning. Both suspects could face murder charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
