So, let’s go over this information for all Red Raider fans in the 2026 season.
Road Closures and Extra Security
First off, all traffic will be closed off on Wes Kittley Drive of Champions between 8th Street and Canton Avenue three hours before every kickoff for pedestrian safety. The traffic closure will stay in effect until one hour after each game.

Also, there are new security scanners that will help expedite the screening process as fans enter Galaxy Stadium. Don’t worry, you’ll be good to go as long as you leave your military bazooka at home.
Speaking of entering the stadium, all fans must have digital copies of their tickets ready to scan. QR codes are a thing of the past this season, so digital tickets will need to be scanned wirelessly at the gate to gain entry.
Enhancing Fan Experience at Galaxy Stadium
I feel I need airhorns when I say this next part, but drone shows are back! There are different drone shows and firework celebrations scheduled for each of the night games. Because what says “Go Tech” better than massive explosions that light up the sky?
