A new month is here, but the Kermes celebration continues! From Friday, Sept. 4 through Sunday, Sept. 6, enjoy a weekend of filled with faith, joy, delicious food, music, games, and most importantly, community at 11700 Pebble Hills Blvd.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Kermes

On the other side of town, Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church is hosting its Kermes from Friday, Sept. 4 through Sunday, Sept. 6 at 8300 De Alva Dr. Get ready for a weekend of live entertainment, activities, food, prizes and a car show at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Get ready to cheer on your El Paso Chihuahuas as they make their homestand against the Las Vegas Aviators on Friday, Sept. 4 through Sunday, Sept. 6. Catch all the action at Southwest University Park and on Saturday, stay after the game for a fireworks spectacular!

Alicia Villarreal Bendita Locura Tour

An icon in Regional Mexican music is kicking off her tour right here in the Sun City! Alicia Villarreal is set to perform at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4 at the Plaza Theatre. Fans can expect to hear powerful performances of “Te quedó grande la yegüa”, “Ay papacito” and “Insensible a ti.”

Before the new season, the El Paso Rhinos will take on the Odessa Jackalopes in free exhibition games! General admission doors will open at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4 and Saturday, Sept. 5, at the El Paso County Coliseum. Cheer on your Rhinos as they celebrate their 20th season of hockey!

Ghosts of The Camino Real – San Elizario Spirit Walk

Take a walk on the eerie path of history with this spirit walk. The San Elizario Ghost Tour will be from 8 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, starting at San Elizario placita. Learn about the history of this small town and the old souls that reside in it. Children 9 and under are not permitted on the tour. Tickets start at $25.

Steve Aoki: Dim Mak Takeover

Well-known DJ and record producer Steve Aoki returns to take over The Elmont! Steve Aoki Dim Mak Takeover show is expected to begin at 8 p.m. on Friday. Sept. 4. Joining Aoki is joined by special guests Nghtmre, Rommii and RayRay!

Movies at the Park

Enjoy the last free movie of the season under the stars with the El Paso Park and Recreation Department! The showing of “Toy Story 4” is set to begin at 8 p.m. on Friday. Sept. 4 at White Spur Park, located at 4800 Love Rd. Guests are encouraged to not only bring your family and friends, but also your own chairs, blankets and snacks!

Labor Day Kick Off Salsa Social with Team Havana

Start your Labor Day weekend right on the dance floor! Join the El Paso Ballroom Dance Academy for a night filled with dance, music and fun from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4 at 7220 N. Mesa St. Bachata lessons will be from 9 to 10 p.m. In addition to the dance, guests can also enjoy the Ballrooms’ birthday celebration! Entry is $15.

First Friday Fine Arts Flea Market

Dive yourself into a world of local craft, music, food and community with Fine Art Flea Market! The event will be from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday. Sept. 4 in Downtown Las Cruces. In addition to various vendors, art galleries and more, local band Planet I Love You will be performing, along with Ballet Folklorico, HD2 Studio and street skate demos by Compas Skate Shop.

Karol G: Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour

Latin superstar Karol G, along with pop artist Becky G, are ready to rock El Paso with the Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour show! Both shows on Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6, are expected to begin at 7 p.m. at the Sun Bowl Stadium. Hatch Chile Festival

Celebrate the spice at the Hatch Chile Festival! The event will be from Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6, throughout the Village of Hatch. The festival kicks off with a parade, starting at 9 a.m. Then, make your way to the Hatch Chile Carnival, near Hatch Valley High School! Carnival day passes are $35 at the door, cash only.

Viva Vino presents Harvest Wine & Music Festival 2026

If chile isn’t your thing, Viva Vino has got you covered with their Harvest Wine & Music Festival! The fest is happening from noon to 6 p.m. from Saturday, Sept. 5 through Monday, Sept. 7 at the Southern New Mexico State Fairgrounds. Savor some great wines while listening to live music performed by local bands. In addition to the wine and music, guests can also enjoy some gourmet eats, shop local and unwind! Tickets are $35.

Let Freedom Sing – Corey Kent & Don Louis – Boots, Bands & Bliss

What’s better than a night of music, food, drinks and activities at the Let Freedom Sing Boots, Bands and Bliss concert? Gates open at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5 at Freedom Crossing in Fort Bliss. Country artist Corey Kent will headline the concert, with performances by Don Luis, The 1AD Band, The Roulettes, Coaster and Kikimora. Admission is free!

Movie Night: Sunset Soul: The Hal Marcus Story, directed by Valentin Sandoval

Celebrate the art and life of the late Hal Marcus with this special film showcase. The “Sunset Soul: The Hal Marcus Story” film is set to begin at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5 at the Sunset Parlor. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. to allow visitors to see the Hal Marcus Gallery before the showing. Although the movie is free, RSVP is necessary.

Women Hike to West Cottonwood Spring

Go on an adventure in the Franklin Mountains State Park with this Women Hike! The walk, led by a female ranger, will begin at 8 a.m. on Sunday. Sept. 6 and hikers will meet at the West Cottonwood Springs trailhead in the Tom Mays Unit. The hike is moderately difficult and about 3 miles long.
