BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The outside southbound lane of Texas Avenue will close early Tuesday morning, Sept. 8, between 27th and 28th streets as the Brazos County Administration Building remodel continues. Drivers will be forced to merge onto the inside southbound lane between 26th and 27th streets.
The closure is expected to remain in place through December.
Anyone with jury duty or appointments in and around the courthouse should allow extra time to navigate traffic near the downtown parking garage. The inside southbound lane will remain open but could become more congested during peak traffic times.
