UMB Bank, n.a., a subsidiary of UMB Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: UMBF) is pleased to announce that Eddie Broussard will lead UMB’s West Texas region as market president, which includes Lubbock, Abilene, Amarillo, Midland, Odessa and San Angelo.

In his expanded role, Broussard is responsible for driving the overall business and direction of UMB in the market. Broussard brings more than 42 years of banking and financial services experience with a proven track record of delivering business growth. Since joining UMB in 2022, Broussard has played an instrumental role in the Dallas-Fort Worth leadership team that has delivered outstanding growth in Texas.

UMB expanded into West Texas in 2025 when the bank completed its acquisition of Heartland Financial (HTLF), which was operating in West Texas as First Bank & Trust. The region includes 17 branches and more than 200 associates.
Before joining UMB, Broussard spent nine years as president of a Dallas-Fort Worth-based bank and has worked as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at two privately held companies. Eddie earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Deeply engaged in the Fort Worth community, Broussard has served in numerous leadership roles across a broad range of civic and cultural organizations, including Streams & Valleys, Inc., the Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County, Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. and Bass Performance Hall. He is also superintendent of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. In addition, Eddie is a board member emeritus of the Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business and Junior Achievement of the Chisholm Trail, reflecting his ongoing dedication to education and workforce development.
