Possible lightning strike sparks house fire in northwest Harris County, officials say

Deputies are assisting firefighters at a Shadow Wind Drive home as storms move through the area.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Harris County Precinct 4 deputies are helping the Cy-Fair Fire Department respond to a residential fire in the 8300 block of Shadow Wind Drive. Officials said the blaze may have been caused by lightning as thunderstorms pass through the region.

Firefighters remain at the scene. Drivers and residents are asked to avoid the area and use caution near emergency crews.
