Colorado Springs police saw single-vehicle collisions, gun violence and domestic violence last week, among other offenses, with law enforcement making 314 arrests in El Paso County.

From Nov. 2 to Nov. 8, the Colorado Springs Police Department posted nine blotter entries to its public database of incidents approved for release. Here is a recap of those entries:

On Nov. 2, just before 4 a.m., a male victim walked into a hospital with “at least” one gunshot wound. The man arrived in serious condition and was unable to provide any details due to needing immediate medical attention. Police have not announced any further details.

Also on Nov. 2, at least three businesses sustained damage after a shootout in the 3700 block of Astrozon Boulevard. Police say a similar incident happened on Oct. 26. The investigation into the incident is ongoing and no arrests have been announced.

On Tuesday, a vehicle accelerated at a high speed into a King Soopers in the 1700 block of West Uintah Street, injuring five people. The victims and the driver were taken to a hospital, and police say the collision appears to be an accident.

On Thursday night, police were dispatched to a robbery at a gas station in the 2700 block of West Colorado Avenue when they learned the suspect had left the scene. Later that night, Sean Harvey, 59, was pulled over in an unrelated traffic stop, from which an officer found methamphetamine in his possession, then connected Harvey’s vehicle with the robbery. Harvey’s passenger, Ronald Dyer, was arrested in connection with his alleged involvement in the robbery.

On Nov. 2, police responded to a call for help from medical personnel after a patient allegedly assaulted a paramedic before attempting to commit suicide by jumping off the Powers Boulevard bridge. Police say he was then taken into custody.

On Monday, police responded to a call around 3:30 a.m. regarding a domestic disturbance, in which Donte Mayo, 32, allegedly forced his way into a female victim’s house. He was arrested after he was found in the basement of the house with the victim and a 10mm Glock firearm.

Also on Monday, police responded to a domestic violence call in which a suspect, Scott Moore, was allegedly assaulting a victim who had a protection order against Moore. He was arrested and faces felony and misdemeanor domestic violence charges.

On Thursday, police were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash near North Nevada Avenue and Dublin Boulevard. Police say the crash appears to have been caused by excessive speed. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Early Saturday morning, police responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in the 100 block of Barnes Road. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with “serious but non-life-threatening” injuries.
