Better Together Singles Over 50 enjoy a concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre.

About two dozen Better Together Jewish Singles Over 50 rocked and rolled to the amazing sounds of Classic Albums Live performing Led Zeppelin’s greatest hits at a concert at Miller Outdoor Theatre on Aug. 28.
Thanks to the Miller theater, Better Together singles were able to sit together in a large block of seats in a covered area on a cooler-than-usual breezy August evening. They also had close-in parking.
Many singles never venture out to attend shows alone but feel very comfortable attending events like these in a large group.
Better Together strives to provide fun, mature social events – with support from the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston, Houston Jewish Community Foundation, Congregations Beth Yeshurun and Emanu El and Rona and Jerry Levit. The Levits sponsor the semiannual “Jerry & Rona’s Rockin’ 60s & 70s Dinner & Show.”
If you are Jewish, single and over 50, be sure to register for the next Rockin’ 60s & 70s event on Oct. 21 at the Stafford Centre.
This month, Better Together Jewish Singles Over 50 will join Emanu El for “Sukkot on Sunset” on Sept. 27 for a carnival-like celebration with karaoke, table games, mahjong and more.
