EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A confirmed Chuco Tango gang member was arrested in El Paso’s Lower Valley on a parole violation warrant, according to the El Paso County Precinct 6 Constable’s Office.
Deputy constables received information at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday that Pedro Valdivia, 37, was possibly at a home in the 7600 block of Garden Place, Constable Javier Garcia said.
Deputies checked the residence but did not find Valdivia there.
While searching the surrounding area, a deputy drove into an apartment complex in the 600 block of North Carolina Drive and saw Valdivia standing outside a vehicle, the release said.
Valdivia was taken into custody without incident at about 4:22 p.m. Wednesday, according to the constable’s office.
He was wanted on a parole violation warrant issued by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Austin Pardon and Parole Board, officials said.
Valdivia was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a parole violation charge with a $0 bond.
The constable’s office identified Valdivia as a confirmed member of the Chuco Tango gang.
