A Target is coming to a rapidly expanding area of Fort Worth — and it’s opening soon. Here’s what we know:
The location, at the northwest corner of Chisholm Trail Parkway and McPherson Boulevard in southwest Fort Worth, will be open to the public on Oct. 11, according to a press release from Target.
The store is roughly 148,000 square feet, and will create 150 jobs. The store will have a CVS Pharmacy, a Starbucks, and a Target eyeglass store.
The location, Target says, will also include a new “food-forward selection of fresh and affordable produce, meat and dairy” plus EV charging stations and “adult beverage offerings.”
Plans for the new store have been in the works since 2023.
Across McPherson Boulevard, H-E-B has filed early paperwork for “future development” on a site it owns at 5501 Crescent Hill Lane, but plans for a new location have not been formally announced.
