The West 7th Entertainment District is getting its own cigar lounge.
Silver Leaf Cigar Lounge announced Thursday, Sept. 3 it’s moving to Artisan Circle. It will go into the former STIRR cocktail bar and Dirty Bones wing restaurant at 3028 Crockett St.
Silver Leaf first came to Fort Worth in 2014, opening in downtown’s Sundance Square. In 2023, Silver Leaf was nominated for the Star-Telegram’s reader choice awards for favorite bar. The cigar lounge was steadfast in Sundance Square throughout Covid and the ever-changing business scene downtown.
Cigar lounges in Fort Worth are few and far between. A Fort Worth city ordinance makes it illegal to smoke indoors in public places, including bars and restaurants. However, there are exceptions to the law for retail smoke shops and cigar lounges that operate in facilities that don’t share ventilation systems with neighboring businesses.
The Artisan Circle building for the new Silver Leaf location features a ground level patio and a rooftop balcony. Teaser renderings on Instagram reveal shots of a humidor room, indoor bar, lounge seating and a stage for live music.
Silver Leaf is of course known for their premium, hand-rolled cigar collection featuring Davidoff Cigars, as well as a curated craft cocktail menu, wine, beer and other liquors.
Walk-ins are welcome, but customers can become a VIP member for $25 per week or $1,200 per year. The membership includes store discounts, member-exclusive events including a golf tournament, personal humidor storage space and a cigar gift each month.
An opening timeline has not been released yet. However, updates will be posted to the Artisan Circle and Silver Leaf Cigar Lounge social media accounts.
Currently, Silver Leaf Cigar Lounge can be found at 426 Commerce St. in downtown Fort Worth. They are open Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
The new location in Artisan Circle will be located at 3028 Crockett St.
