At 12:25 p.m. on Saturday, the NWS Fort Worth TX released a heat advisory valid for Sunday between noon and 8 p.m. The advisory is for Wise, Denton, Collin, Tarrant, Dallas, Johnson, Montague, Cooke, Grayson, Rockwall, Kaufman, Van Zandt, Rains, Ellis, Henderson and Navarro counties.
The NWS informs, “Heat index values up to 108 degrees expected.”
“Hot temperatures and high humidity will increase the risk for heat-related illnesses to occur, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities,” describes the NWS.
This advisory is in effect until Sunday at 8 p.m.
