The incident happened just after 7:15 a.m. in the 1700 block of Skyplace Boulevard
SAN ANTONIO – A small private plane veered off the runway at San Antonio International Airport Friday morning after its nose landing gear collapsed.
The crash happened just after 7:15 a.m. in the 1700 block of Skyplace Boulevard, located near U.S Highway 281 and Wurzbach Parkway.
According to a statement from airport officials, the gear failure caused the plane to leave the runway.
Three people were on board, and they were able to exit without injury.
San Antonio Fire Department crews responded to the scene.
