A Texas couple made an unexpected stop when they spotted a turtle trying to cross a busy street.The video, shared by Amber Blanch on Instagram, shows her husband getting out of their parked car and carefully picking up the turtle from the middle of the road.The couple then took the animal to a nearby body of water and placed it safely on the ground near the edge. The turtle quickly made its way toward the water before disappearing into it.Blanch explained that they couldn’t simply drive past and leave the turtle in danger. She also praised her husband for his love of animals, writing: “One of the things I love most about my husband is his BIG heart for all of God’s creatures… turtles included!”She added: “Today we stopped to rescue a turtle trying to cross a busy street. He couldn’t just drive by and leave him there. 😂”Her final description summed up the moment perfectly: “Tough guy, soft heart☺️”
