19-year-old ejected, killed in crash on North Side, San Antonio police say

SAN ANTONIO – A 19-year-old man was killed after being ejected from his motorcycle in a crash north of downtown, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The crash happened around midnight Sunday near U.S. Highway 281 and Interstate 35.

An SAPD preliminary report states the man was driving at a high rate of speed northbound when he collided with the highway wall. The man was ejected from the bike and landed in a parking lot.

Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Additional information was not immediately available. The investigation is ongoing.
