BCSO: Man crashes into K-9 unit, arrested on DWI charges

No injuries were reported and K-9 was not in the vehicle at the time of the crash, sheriff’s office says

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – A man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after crashing into a deputy’s vehicle in northwest Bexar County, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

Xavier Stout, 24, crashed into a BCSO K-9 unit around 1 a.m. Sunday near the Highway 90 frontage road and Loop 1604, the sheriff’s office said.

No injuries were reported, BCSO said, and the K-9 was not in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The sheriff’s office said Stout faces a charge of driving while intoxicated, his second offense, and was booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center.
