EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the El Paso Police Department are asking for the public’s help finding a driver involved in a serious hit-and-run crash.

The crash happened around 2:48 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, on I-10 East near Airway. Police said a 26-year-old man was changing a tire on the shoulder when he was hit by a pickup truck.

The driver left the scene. The victim was critically injured and hospitalized.

Investigators said the truck is a white 2001 Dodge Ram single-cab pickup with a black liftgate. It has damage to the right front side, including a broken headlight.
