A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Saturday night on Northeast Loop 820 in Fort Worth, police said.
Fort Worth police officers respond to the crash about 8:40 p.m. at 2500 Northeast Loop 820 at the eastbound North Freeway Express northbound exit, police said in a statement.
Police said a single motorcycle was involved in the crash, which an initial investigation determined happened after the motorcyclist missed his turn and hit the wall.
The rider was pronounced dead, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
The person who died will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin have been notified.
