Firefighters found flames coming from the back of the apartment on McDonald Street late Thursday night.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — One person was hospitalized for smoke inhalation after a late-night apartment fire in Flour Bluff, according to the Corpus Christi Fire Department.
Crews were called to 933 McDonald Street around 10:52 p.m. Thursday and arrived to find flames coming from the back of the one-story building.
The fire was quickly put out and contained to one room and its contents.
Crews searched the apartment to make sure no one else was inside. The American Red Cross was contacted to assist those affected by the fire.
A fire investigator was called to the scene. The cause of the fire has not been released. 3NEWS will provide updates as more information becomes available.
